A former brewery-exclusive release from Prairie Artisan Ales is now headed to retailers across the county.
Bourbon Paradise 2019 Bourbon Paradise 2018, a 16 percent ABV imperial stout aged in bourbon barrels and conditioned on both coconut and vanilla. The barrel-aged stout debuted in Nov. 2017 and was release for a second time in December of last year.
There have been a number of variants of Prairie’s Paradise imperial stout (13 percent ABV) released over the years, including: Pirate Paradise, a 13 percent ABV imperial stout aged in rum barrels and conditioned on coconut and vanilla; Apple Brandy Paradise, a 14.6 percent ABV imperial stout aged in apple brandy barrels for approximately 10 months and conditioned on both toasted coconut and vanilla; and Pecans In Paradise, a 13 percent ABV imperial stout aged in rum barrels with pecans, vanilla and coconut.
According to a post on Prairie’s Facebook page, Bourbon Paradise 2019 is packaged in 12-ounce bottles and is now shipping to retailers across the brewery’s entire distribution network.
