Later this month, Prairie Artisan Ales will be shipping three popular versions of its Noir imperial stout at the same time.

The beers are:

  • Vanilla Noir, a 12.5 percent ABV imperial stout aged in whiskey barrels and conditioned on vanilla beans that was released for the first time in late 2013
  • Coffee Noir, an 11.5 percent ABV imperial stout brewed with the same Spaceship Earth coffee the brewery uses for its Bomb! imperial stout
  • Noir, an 11 percent ABV imperial stout aged in whiskey barrels

A post on Prairie’s Facebook page indicates that the newest releases of Noir, Vanilla Noir and Coffee Noir will be packaged in 12-ounce bottles that are scheduled to ship to retailers across the brewery’s distribution network by the end of November.

In addition, Zach Prichard, owner of Krebs Brewing Co., told Tenemu in an email that while both the Noir and Vanilla Noir will have approximately the same number of bottles released as last year, “there will be quite a bit less Coffee (Noir)” shipped to retailers.
