Next month will mark the anniversary of one of Prairie Artisan Ales’ most popular releases, and the brewery is celebrating by bringing back a variant that is being specifically made for the occasion.
The beer is Birthday Bomb!, a 13 percent ABV imperial stout brewed with coffee, cacao nibs, vanilla beans and chili peppers. As with last year’s debut, the latest incarnation will have one ingredient not found in any of the other releases of the base imperial stout: caramel sauce that was hand made at the brewery.
In an email, Krebs Brewing Co. owner Zach Prichard told Tenemu that Birthday Bomb! will be packaged in 12-ounce bottles and is scheduled to ship to retailers starting on May 8.
