Prairie Artisan Ales recently made an announcement on its website that it will be releasing Pirate Paradise.

As we reported earlier this summer, Prairie released Paradise, the base for this beer, in June on draft only. Paradise is an imperial stout brewed with cocoanut and vanilla with an ABV of 13 percent. The big change that Pirate Paradise sees is that it is aged in rum barrels and packaged in 12-ounce bottles.

The release party will be at the Prairie Production Facility in Krebs, Okla. Saturday, Sept. 24 starting at 11 a.m. The bottles will be released at noon. There will be 1,200 bottles for sale with a six bottle limit per person. As of yet, there is no price announced for special release bottles.
