Prairie Artisan Ales has released a brand new beer just in time for Christmas, but fans will have to travel to Oklahoma City to get it.
That beer is Pirate Christmas, an imperial stout aged in rum barrels for approximately two years and conditioned on “spices.” As the name suggests, the new creation uses Prairie’s Christmas Bomb! (13 percent ABV) as its base, a beer brewed with cacao nibs, vanilla, coffee, cinnamon and chili peppers that was first released in 2014.
According to a post on Prairie’s Instagram page, Pirate Christmas Bomb! is packaged in 12-ounce bottles and are now being sold exclusively at the brewery’s Oklahoma City taproom with a two bottle per person purchase limit and only 350 bottles available.
