A new sour beer from Prairie Artisan Ales is aged on a little something extra.

The brewery has released  Lil’ Nap, a 6 percent ABV sour ale conditioned on blackberries and limes that was also “aged over cedar spirals” before being packaged at Krebs Brewing Co. in Krebs, Okla.

Early last year, Prairie released a similar ale named Porch Punch as a draft-only option that came in at the same 6 percent ABV, but it was conditioned on blackberries, cherries and lime zest and there was no mention of being aged on wood spirals.

According to a post on Prairie’s Facebook page, Lil’ Nap is packaged in 12-ounce cans that are will be shipping across Prairie’s entire distribution network.
