An imperial stout from Prairie Artisan Ales that would feel right at home during Halloween is making the jump to bottles.

Basic Becky is an 11 percent ABV imperial stout brewed with allspice, caraway, cinnamon, cloves, coriander, nutmeg and pumpkins that will be brewed and packaged in 12-ounce bottles at Krebs Brewing Co. in Krebs, Okla. In an email, Zach Prichard, owner of Krebs Brewing, told Tenemu that the Basic Becky is made up of a brand new “bigger and thicker” base stout that has never been used before.

A stout with the same name was originally released as a draft-only option late last year, but that version came in at a slightly higher 13 percent ABV.

According to Prichard, 12-ounce bottles of Basic Becky are scheduled to begin shipping to retailers across Prairie’s entire distribution network next week.
