Prairie Artisan Ales and Cigar City Brewing have collaborated on a brand new “desert stout”, but you will have to live in one of the brewery’s home states to get it.
The two breweries have joined forces on Let’s Get This Done, a 12 percent ABV imperial stout brewed with brigaderios and vanilla that will be packaged in 12-ounce bottles. Brigaderios are a traditional Brazilian dessert that is typically made up of a combination of condensed milk, cocoa powder and butter.
In an email, Zach Prichard, owner of Krebs Brewing, told Tenemu that “a few hundred cases” of Let’s Get This Done is scheduled to shipped to retailers exclusively in the states of Oklahoma and Florida in September. In addition, Prichard said that some of the beer is currently aging in barrels for a barrel-aged version that could be released at some point in the future.
