According to a label filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), Prairie Artisan Ales is working on canning Pink Guava Funk, a 6.3 percent ABV sour ale conditioned on pink guava and packaged in 12-ounce cans. The ale debuted as a draft-only option late last year and the label also indicates that the new beer will be brewed and canned at Krebs Brewing Co. in Krebs, Okla.

Prairie has released a number of fruited sour ales with the word Funk in the name, including Cherry Funk (7.5 percent ABV) in 2013 and Apricot Funk (7.5 percent ABV) in 2017.

An email sent to the brewery for additional information was not immediately returned. In addition, although the beer label attached to this story is the label that was approved by TTB, Prairie frequently changes the final designs of labels before the beers are released to market.
