Prairie Artisan Ales’s newest release is a little bit nutty.
The brewery is now shipping Barrel-Aged Peanut Butter Bomb!, a 14.4 percent ABV imperial stout aged in bourbon barrels and conditioned on peanut butter roasted coffee, cacao nibs, chili peppers and vanilla beans.
As the name suggests, the new stout is the latest variant to use the brewery’s extremely popular Bomb! imperial stout as its base, a 13 percent ABV imperial stout brewed with coffee, chocolate, vanilla beans and ancho chili peppers.
According to a post on Prairie’s Instagram page, Barrel-Aged Peanut Butter Bomb! is packaged in 12-ounce bottles that are shipping to retailers across the brewery’s distribution network now.
