Prairie Artisan Ales is celebrating the Christmas holiday with two beers made just for the occasion.
The first beer being released is Barrel-Aged Christmas Bomb! 2019, an imperial stout aged in bourbon barrels and conditioned on cacao nibs, vanilla, coffee, cinnamon and chili peppers. The stout uses Prairie’s Christmas Bomb! (13 percent ABV) as its base, a beer that was first released in 2014.
In addition, Prairie will be releasing a brand new creation named Holiday Weekend, a bourbon barrel-aged stout conditioned on cacao nibs, cinnamon, coconut and marshmallow.
According to a post on Prairie’s Instagram page, both Barrel-Aged Christmas Bomb! 2019 and Holiday Weekend will be packaged in 12-ounce bottles priced at $12 each when they are released exclusively at the brewery on Nov. 20 with a six bottle per person purchase limit.
Both beers can be purchased now at this website and purchasers can then choose to pick up their bottles at one of two of Prairie’s locations starting on Nov. 20 or have a proxy pick up the beers instead.
