A former brewery-exclusive release from Prairie Artisan Ales will soon be on shelves nationwide.

Holiday Weekend is a bourbon barrel-aged stout conditioned on cacao nibs, cinnamon, coconut and marshmallow. The stout debuted as a brewery-only release on Nov. 20, 2019 priced at $12 each with a six bottle per person purchase limit.

Both the Weekend moniker and the ingredient list have been released in beers bottled by Prairie before: the first was in July 2019, when the brewery released Pirate Weekend, a rum barrel-aged imperial stout conditioned on chocolate, coconut and marshmallows. That release was followed by Weekend, an imperial stout conditioned on cacao nibs, coconut and marshmallow that was shipped in February.

According to a post on Prairie’s Instagram page, Holiday Weekend 2020 will be packaged in 12-ounce bottles that are scheduled to ship to retailers across the country.
