It may feel like Pipeworks Brewing Co. has run through all of the adjuncts it can for its newest Abduction release, but the brewery has at least one more up its sleeve.
According to filings with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), the newest version is Cinnamon Abduction, a 10.5 percent ABV imperial stout that incorporates CTZ hops as well as 2-row, vienna, munich, chocolate, special b, caramel 120, oats and midnight wheat malts. In addition, the beer is brewed with chocolate, cacao and vanilla.
Cinnamon Abduction is the latest in a long line of stouts in the Abduction series for the Chicago, Ill.-based brewery, including Coffee Break Abduction (10.5 percent ABV), Toasty Nut Abduction (10.5 percent ABV) and Orange Truffle Abduction (10.5 percent ABV), among others.
As with the rest of the Abduction series beers, Cinnamon Abduction will be packaged in 22-ounce bottles. An email sent to the brewery for information regarding release and distribution details was not immediately returned.
