A new release from Pipeworks Brewing Co. is named after the most expensive aquarium fish in the world.
Arowana is a 9.5 percent ABV imperial IPA brewed with Citra hops, honey and peach purée. The IPA is the newest release is the Chicago-based brewery’s Fish Series, which includes IPAs brewed with both honey and different fruits that are named after various types of fish.
According to a label filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), Arowana will be packaged in 22-ounce bottles. An email sent to the brewery for information on the release date and distribution details was not immediately returned.
