Hood River, Ore.-based Pfriem Family Brewers recently received TTB label approval for its Oude Kriek.
Oude Kriek is a lambic-style ale, which is made by fermenting lambic with cherries. According to the label provided by TTB, Oude Kriek is barrel aged for ten months with Hood River cherries, giving it flavors of cherry pie with a dry, tangy finish.
Oude Kriek has an ABV of 5.6 percent and will be available in 375ml bottles. No release date has been announced.
