Perennial Artisan Ales and Jester King Brewery have joined forces for a second time on a beer “inspired by a mutual love of chocolate oranges.”

‘Till The Night Closes In is a 9 percent ABV milk stout brewed with Mandarina Bavaria hops, dried tangerines and fresh satsuma oranges from central Texas. According to a post on Perennial’s Facebook page, the beer was then conditioned on cacao nibs, Madagascar vanilla beans and fresh Valencia orange peels before being bottled.

The two breweries have collaborated once before on Enigmatic Taxa, a 6.9 percent ABV barrel-aged farmhouse ale incorporating Cascade, Simcoe, X17 and Zythos hops and referemented on grapefruit juice and grapefruit zest that was released by Jester King last year.

According to Perennial, ‘Till The Night Closes In will be packaged in 750ml bottles ($17) that are scheduled to be released exclusively at the St. Louis-based brewery on Jan. 25.
