Parish Brewing Co. and Other Half Brewing Co. have collaborated on two very different double IPAs, and both new beers are being released this weekend.
The first beer is Boudin & Cracklin’, a double-dry hopped double IPA brewed with Nelson Sauvin, Wai-Iti and Waimea hops from New Zealand; while the second release is named Ghost Diamonds, a double-dry hopped double IPA brewed exclusively with Galaxy hops.
In addition, Parish Brewing will be releasing 2018 Vanilla Shade, an imperial stout aged for ten months in barrels that previously held Heaven Hill and Woodford Reserve bourbon before being conditioned on five separate additions of vanilla bean puree from Madagascar, Tahiti and Uganda.
According to an Instagram post, both Boudin & Cracklin’ and Ghost Diamonds will be sold in four-packs of 16-ounce cans ($24) and will each feature a one case per person limit, while 2018 Vanilla Shade will be released in 750ml bottles ($35) and will a six bottle per person limit. All three beers will be released at the brewery on April 20.
