Saturday’s release from Other Half Brewing Co. will include a well loved classic as well as two beers that have never been packaged before.
The first of the beers to be released by the Brooklyn, N.Y.-based brewery is Stacks on Stacks, an 8.5 percent ABV imperial IPA brewed with Citra, El Dorado and Mosaic hops. The beer was first released in February as a draft-only option, and it will be packaged in four-packs of 16-ounce cans ($18) with a four-pack per person limit.
The second beer will be Peach-Wood Aged, a 4.5 percent ABV sour ale fermented in oak foudres with lactobacillus, three different strains of brettanomyces and white peaches. The ale was originally released in January as a draft-only option, and will be sold in 750ml bottles ($12) with a limit of six bottles per person.
Finally, Other Half will be release a new batch of Hop Showers, its 7.4 percent ABV IPA brewed with Ahtanum, Amarillo and Citra hops, which will packaged in four-packs of 16-ounce cans ($16) and will have one case per person limit.
According to posts on Other Half’s Instagram account, all three beers are schedluled to be released at the brewery on April 9.
