Oskar Blues Brewery has released a brand new lager in cans, but you have to live in the state of Texas to buy it.

Saloon Juice is 4.5 percent ABV “Texas amber lager” ale brewed with Brown Field 10 Texas Munich malt sourced from Blacklands Malt which is located only 20 miles from Oskar Blues’ Austin brewery. According to the brewery, the recipe of the new ale was “inspired by the Texas Hill Country, where German immigrants settled by the thousands in the 19th century.”

“It’s full-flavored and light-bodied, combining German style with Texas flavor,” said Luke Burcham, head brewer at Oskar Blues Austin, in a press release. “Saloon Juice offers a whole world to be experienced, and leaves nothing to be desired…except more Saloon Juice.”

According to a press release from Oskar Blues, Saloon Juice Lager is brewed at the company’s Austin-based facility and is now being sold exclusively in the state of Texas packaged in six-packs of 12-ounce cans.
