For the first time since it was originally brewed, Oskar Blues Brewery has released Barrel-Aged Ten Fidy in cans.

Coming in at 12.9 percent ABV, the imperial stout is brewed with two-row malt, chocolate malt, roasted barley, flaked oats and hops. This newest version has been aged in undisclosed bourbon barrels before being packaged in 19.2-ounce “Stovepipe” cans.

While Barrel-Aged Ten Fidy has been released in many different incarnations, aged in multiple brands of bourbon barrels and even packaged in crowlers over the years, this is the first time the beer has actually been canned.

According to the brewery, 19.2-ouce cans of Barrel Aged Ten Fidy ($11.50) are available now at The Tasty Weasel in Longmont, Colo. with a six can per person limit. A post on the company’s Facebook page indicates that there will also be a limited number of the cans sent to its brewery in Brevard, N.C.
