Two months after Oskar Blues Brewery released Barrel-Aged Ten Fidy in cans, another beer is getting the treatment for the first time.

According to a post on the Longmont, Colo.-based brewery’s Instagram page, the new beer is Añejo Tequila Barrel-Aged Gubna, a version of its Gubna double IPA (10 percent ABV) brewed with Columbus, galena and sorachi ace hops and dry hopped with Chinook, comet and El Dorado hops that has been aged in añejo tequila barrels.

This is not the first time the IPA has been barrel-aged, as other incarnations include Brandy Barrel-Aged Gubna (10 percent AB) aged in brandy barrels, Breckenridge Bourbon Barrel-Aged Gubna (10 percent ABV) aged in Breckenridge bourbon barrels and Four Roses Bourbon Barrel-Aged Gubna (10 percent ABV) aged in Four Roses whiskey barrels, amongst others.

Like the recently released Barrel-Aged Ten Fidy, Añejo Tequila Barrel-Aged Gubna will be packaged in 19.2-ounce “stovepipe” cans and will be available for sale “real soon” at the Tasty Weasel Taproom in Longmont, Colo.
