A brand new series from Oskar Blues Brewery will include “a pantheon of limited release barrel-aged beers.”
The inaugural entry in the new BA20 Series is BA20 Vol. 1: All Monde, a 12.5 percent ABV imperial stout aged in bourbon barrels for “nine oaky months” before being conditioned on toasted almonds and Madagascar vanilla beans.
Each of the four beers in the new series will incorporate a new tool for the Longmont, Colo.-based brewery’s brewers: the “Spinbot 5000”, which works by circulating beer through added adjuncts for “hours or days at a time for maximum flavor transfer.”
According to a press release, BA20 Vol. 1: All Monde is packaged in four-packs of 12-ounce cans that are being shipped to retailers nationwide “starting now.”
