According to a label filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), Oskar Blues Brewery is working on releasing Death By King Cake, a 6.5 percent ABV porter brewed with cacao nibs, cinnamon, nutmeg, orange peel, pecans and vanilla before being packaged in 12-ounce cans.

The Longmont, Colo.-based brewery has used the Death By moniker in the past, namely for Death By Coconut, a 6.5 percent ABV Irish porter brewed with coconut and pure liquid cacao made from cacao, water and coconut sugar that was sourced from Boulder-based Cholaca that debuted in 2014. Last month, Oskar Blues also filled a label for 12-ounce cans of Death By Coffee, a 6.5 percent ABV porter brewed with coffee.

An email sent to the brewery for additional information was not immediately returned.
