Oskar Blues Brewery has a number of surprises in its lineup for 2018, including a much smaller seasonal portfolio compared to last year.

The Longmont, Colo.-based brewery will be dropping three different beers from its packaged seasonal rotation: Hotbox Coffee IPA, Passionfruit Pinner IPA and Deviant Dale’s IPA.

This leaves just four seasonal releases on the calendar:

  • Fugli — IPA brewed with yuzu and ugli packaged in 12-ounce cans — April-July
  • Ten Fidy — imperial stout packaged in 12-ounce cans — August-September
  • Death By Coconut — imperial porter brewed with coconut packaged in 12-ounce cans — September-October
  • Barrel-Aged Ten Fidy — barrel-aged imperial stout packaged in 19.2-ounce “stovepipe” cans — October-November

In addition, Oskar Blues is adding 12-ounce cans of Hotbox Coffee Porter to its year-round lineup on Aug. 1 while dropping Priscilla ale, meaning there will be eight core brands packaged in 12-ounce cans:

There will also be another CANundrum 12-pack Sampler for 2018, which include three each of four different beers packaged in 12-ounce cans:

  • Dale’s Pale Ale
  • Mama’s Little Yella Pils
  • Pinner Throwback IPA
  • Oskar Blues IPA

Finally, according to Chad Melis, marketing director at Oskar Blues, G’Knight imperial red IPA will get a price reduction to bring it in line with the rest of Oskar Blues’ core brands.
