For the second year in a row, Orpheus Brewing will be releasing Barrel-Aged The 12th Labor in bottles.

As with last year’s release, the beer will remain a 13 percent ABV imperial stout brewed with Belgian abbey yeast, dark candy syrup and nugget hops as well as 2-row, Munich, chocolate, beechwood smoked, Special B, roasted barley and black patent malts before being aged in bourbon barrels. The regular version of the Atlanta-based brewery’s The 12th Labor (13 percent ABV) is available starting in December every year.

The imperial stout was first released in bottles during an event that took place at the brewery on Sept. 3, 2015.

According to a label filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), the newest incarnation of Barrel-Aged The 12th Labor will be packaged in 22-ounce bottles. An email sent to the brewery for additional information was not immediately returned.
