Prairie Artisan Ales has released yet another barrel-aged beer.

This time, the Tulsa, Okla.-based brewery has released OK-Si, a 12 percent ABV imperial stout aged in tequila barrels. According to the brewery, the base beer is “a new imperial stout base we use for barrel aging,” and the name is “a play on ‘OKC’ with the si referencing the tequila barrels.”

This is the second barrel-aged stout Prairie has released this year, after Apple Brandy Noir that started shipping in January.

Filings with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) show the new beer will be bottled by Krebs Brewing Co. located in Krebs, Okla. and will be distributed by Shelton Brothers. In addition, a post on Prairie’s website indicates that the bottles started shipping to retailers the week of April 17.
