Next month, Odell Brewing Co. will be releasing its first year-round offering in more than two years.
The beer is Drumroll APA, a 5.3 percent ABV American pale ale brewed with “rock-star hops.” The new pale ale is also the first beer to be released exclusively in cans by the Fort Collins, Colo.-based brewery.
“Drumroll is an unfiltered American pale ale,” said Brendan McGivney, coo of Odell, in a press release. “A bold, juicy, citrus-inspired and tropically hop forward APA that looks and tastes like pineapple, orange, mango, and grapefruit. The complex fruit character is the result of the careful combination of our favorite current crop year hops with no fruit or juice addition necessary.”
According to a press release, Drumroll APA will be packaged in 12-packs of 12-ounce cans and is scheduled to be shipped to retailers in Odell’s entire 12 state distribution footprint starting in June.
