Fans of Odell Brewing Co. have a number of things to look forward to this year, including two new year-round releases, a new experimental seasonal beer and the return of a fan favorite that has not been seen in half a decade.
The returning fan favorite is 180 Shilling, a 9.6 percent ABV oak-aged amber ale that debuted in 2014 as part of the brewery’s silver anniversary. The re-release of the classic ale will now be part of Odell’s Cellar Series and will be packaged in single 12-ounce bottles that are scheduled to ship to retailers in March.
In addition, there will be two new year-round releases: Mountain Standard IPA, an 8.1 percent ABV IPA that will be available staring in March packaged in six-packs of 12-ounce cans; and a brand new as-yet-unnamed session IPA that will be packaged in cans that will ship to retailers in the fall.
Odell’s Seasonal Series will also get a new addition in the form of Wolf Picker 2019, a 5.5 percent ABV “experimental pale ale” brewed with Strata hops. Named after the classic hop harvesting machine, Wolf Picker 2019 is shipping now through April packaged in six-packs of 12-ounce cans.
Finally, there will be two new beers in Odell’s Limited Series: Hammer Chain, an IPA brewed with fresh American hops ground onsite with the brewery’s hammermill that will be packaged in six-packs of 12-ounce cans scheduled to ship from April through June; and another unnamed beer packaged in cans that will be available from October through December.
