Just weeks after announcing one fruit beer to be released before Christmas, No-Li Brewhouse has another waiting in the wings.
Named Van Lambert Barrel Aged Sour Cherry Ale, the traditional kettle sour comes in at a whopping 10 percent ABV. The brewery used 900 pounds of cherries from Bodacious Berries in Green Bluff, Wash.—just 15 miles north of the Spokane brewery—to produce 185 cases of beer.
No-Li Van Lambert Barrel Aged Sour Cherry Ale will be available on draft at the brewery on Dec. 13 and in 22-ounce bottles starting Dec. 16, with very limited availability in the northwest the week of Christmas.
This is the second cherry fruit beer No-Li has announced in as many weeks, with its new year-round Mosh Pit Tart Cherry Pile Ale scheduled to hit distribution in early December.
