According to a label filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), New Holland Brewing Co. will introduce a new beer to its line for its fall limited release.
Coming in at 9 percent ABV, Baltic Anomaly is brewed the same as a traditional Baltic porter, but New Holland then adds honey to give it a touch of sweetness.
“Much like the alien mystery found at the bottom of the Baltic sea, this flavored Baltic porter boasts an anomaly of its own,” reads the beer label. “Honey lends an extraterrestrial dimension to this Earthly porter, balancing out the sweetness with a slightly dry finish.”
According to New Holland’s 2017 Release Calendar, Baltic Anomaly will be packaged in 12-ounce bottles and is scheduled to be released in September.
