After a two year absence, New Glarus Brewing has once again released its Oud Bruin.

The 2016 version remains a Flander’s-style ale that is once again brewed with a blend of hops from England, Germany and Wisconsin before being fermented in oak vessels. New Glarus has released multiple oud bruins over the years, with the last version in 2014, which was the first release to originate from the brewery’s “wild fruit cave.”

According to a spokesperson for the New Glarus, Wis.-based brewery, this year’s version of Oud Bruin is packaged in four-packs of 12-ounce bottles and was released at the brewery as well as shipped to retailers yesterday.

The spokesperson declined to indicate the ABV of the beer.
