It is not very often that New Glarus Brewing Co. adds a brand new beer to its lineup, but that is exactly what is happening this week.
The new beer is named Break O’Day, a “juice-infused Wisconsin Session IPA” brewed with 100 percent Midwestern barley malt as well as Amarillo, Bravo, chinook, Citra, comet and sterling hops. The new IPA will be part of the New Glarus, Wis.-based brewery’s Thumbprint Series, which is made up of beers that head brewer Dan Carey releases at various times throughout each year.
According to a post on New Glarus’ Instagram page, Break O’ Day IPA is packaged in four-packs of 12-once bottles that are for sale at the brewery now and are shipping to retailers throughout the state of Wisconsin. The new beer is scheduled to be available through the month of June.
