We know now the first entry in New Glarus Brewing Co.’s most popular series of releases for 2019.

Summer Sour is a 7 percent ABV spontaneously fermented ale brewed with three-year-old hops and aged in oak tanks with organic peaches. The new beer is the first release in the brewery’s R&D Series to be sold this year, a series that has historically included three different beers released over a period of approximately four months.

According to a post on New Glarus’ Instagram page, R&D 2019 Summer Sour will be packaged in 500ml bottles ($15) with a two bottle per person per day limit and will be available exclusively at the brewery starting on June 7.
