New Glarus Brewing Co. has released its beer in cans for the first time in its history.

After installing a canning line in April, the New Glarus, Wis.-based brewery has announced that 12-ounce cans of Moon Man pale ale (5 percent ABV) is scheduled to be available at retailers state-wide in 12-packs by Monday, while Spotted Cow cream ale (4.8 percent ABV) 12-ounce cans are available now at the brewery “for a limited time.” Both canned versions will be produced in conjunction with the existing six-packs of 12-ounce bottles that are already available.

According to a post on the brewery’s Instagram page, the cans, boxes, beer and even the machine used to fill the cans will all be produced in the state of Wisconsin.
