One of New Glarus Brewing Co.’s most popular beers is back, but in a very different package.
The beer in question is Strawberry Rhubarb, a 4 percent ABV wild fruit beer brewed with strawberries and local rhubarb. The fruit beer debuted in the summer 2013 but was discontinued in early 2015 and has historically been packaged in 750ml bottles.
However, New Glarus announced in November that the popular ale would be joining the brewery’s Thumbprint Series of seasonal releases, all of which are sold in four-packs of 12-ounce bottles.
According to a post on New Glarus’ Instagram page, the newest incarnation of Strawberry Rhubarb is now available at the brewery and will be showing up in retailers across the state of Wisconsin by the end of this week.
