Earlier this year, New Glarus Brewing Co. packaged its Raspberry Tart and Strawberry Rhubarb fruit ales in smaller bottles for the first time, and now two more of the brewery’s most popular creations will follow suit.

According to a spokesperson at New Glarus, the brewery will be shipping both Serendipity and Wisconsin Belgian Red in four-packs of 12-ounce bottles to retailers in Wisconsin at some point in 2018. Serendipity is a 4 percent ABV fruited sour ale brewed with apples, cherries and cranberries that is aged in oak barrels while Wisconsin Belgian Red is a 4 percent ABV ale brewed with whole Montmorency cherries, Wisconsin farmed wheat and Belgian roasted barleys before being aged in oak tanks.

While there is no exact release set yet, the smaller bottles for Serendipity and Wisconsin Belgian Red will most likely be staggered during 2018. In addition, it is not yet known if the smaller bottles will replace the larger 750ml bottles that are already in circulation.
