New Glarus Brewing Co. has announced its release schedule, but only for the first three months of the year.
In addition to its year-round schedule of Spotted Cow, Moon Man, Two Women, Raspberry Tart and Wisconsin Belgian Red, the New Glarus, Wis.-based brewery will be adding both Scream IIPA and Serendipity to its Thumbprint Series. Scheduled to ship to retailers this month, the beers in the yearly series are beers that head brewer Dan Carey releases at various times throughout each year and will include the double IPA and fruit ale brewed with apples, cranberries and cherries that will be packaged in four-packs of 12-ounce bottles.
The abbreviated release calendar also indicates New Glarus will be adding both Coffee Stout and Cabin Fever to its seasonal lineup starting this month. Coffee Stout is brewed with Wisconsin water, roasted malts and American hops as well as cold-pressed organic coffee from Just Coffee Co-op while Cabin Fever s a bock-style lager brewed with a blend of Wisconsin two row barley, European hops and clover honey.
While that is the only information that is included in the release calendar at this time, New Glarus typically releases a number of different seasonal and Thumbprint beers every year, as well as at least three different R&D releases packaged in 500ml bottles starting in June.
