A new seasonal release from New Glarus Brewing Co. was brewed with a special type of grape.

Nectar Ale is a lambic-style ale brewed with Geisenheim grapes and aged in oak barrels. The brand new ale is part of New Glarus’ Thumbprint Series, which according to head brewer Dan Carey, “…are still brewed with the beer enthusiast in mind. Always handcrafted, the bottle you hold is brewed for the adventurous soul. This is a very limited edition and we make no promises to ever brew this style again.”

According to a post on New Glarus’ Instagram page, Nectar Ale is packaged in four-packs of 12-ounce bottles that are now available for sale at the brewery and that are shipping now to retailers across the state of Wisconsin.
