New Belgium Brewing Co. has a new year-round release that will begin shipping this month.
The newest release from the Fort Collins, Colo.-based brewery is Citradelic Tangerine IPA, a 6 percent ABV IPA brewed with azalea, Citra, Galaxy and mandarin Bavaria hops as well as tangerine.
“This hop profile really lends itself to that big citrusy, juicy fruit nose, so the next logical step was to riff off of that with actual tangerine,” said Grady Hull, assistant brewmaster, in a press release. “The result is a brightly citrus, slightly bitter, and pleasantly balanced IPA.”
According to the press release, Citradelic will be packaged in six-packs of 12-ounce bottles ($8.99-$10.99) and is scheduled to begin shipping to retailers in its distribution footprint this month.
