The next installment in New Belgium Brewing Co.’s Lips of Faith Series is a collaboration with Belgium-based Brouwerij Hof ten Dormaal.
The resulting beer is Golden Ale, a 7 percent ABV ale that will be brewed with mosaic and saaz hops as well as malted sunflower seeds, spelt and wild carrot herbs. This will be the first release in the Fort Collins, Colo.-based brewery’s Lips of Faith Series this year, and will also be the first time that a release in the series will be packaged in four-packs of 12-ounce bottles instead of 22-ounce bottles.
According to Jenny Foust, spokesperson for New Belgium, Golden Ale is scheduled to be brewed at New Belgium between early March and mid-April, and should be released “about four weeks” after that in limited quanities across the brewery’s distribution network.
