New Belgium Brewing Co. wants you to sip its newest beer “with purpose.”

Blackberry Barley Wine Ale (12 percent ABV) is a barely wine-style ale that is brewed wit blackberries, and will be the third entry in the Fort Collins, Colo.-based brewery’s Lips of Faith Series this year, following Pear Ginger Beer (7 percent ABV) the rerelease of the popular Cocoa Molé (9 percent ABV) after a three-year hiatus.

“Smooth as the silk ascot you should be wearing while sipping this barely wine ale brewed with fresh blackberries,” reads the beer label. “A trip under your nose reveals aromas of toasted oak, caramel toffee, and burgundy.”

According to filings with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), the new bottle-conditioned limited release will be packaged in 22-ounce bottles. An email sent to the brewery for additional details was not returned.
