What do you get when a craft beer brewery and an ice cream maker combine forces?
At least in this case, the answer is a new beer named New Belgium + Ben & Jerry’s Salted Caramel Brownie Brown Ale, which is a 6.3 percent ABV brown ale that will be brewed and bottled by Fort Collins, Colo.-based New Belgium Brewing.
“When two B Corps come together, delicious ideas are created” reads the label. “Our mutual dedication to using business as a force for good means you get to enjoy this brown ale laded with chocolaty, salted-caramel, vanilla goodness while helping Protect Our Winters combat climate change. Dig In!”
According to filings with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), the new release will be packaged in both 12-ounce and 22-ounce bottles. An email sent to the brewery for additional details was not returned.
