Monkish Brewing Co.’s 100th can release will be a sweet treat to fans.
The Torrance Calif.-based is releasing a collaboration with de Garde Brewing in Tillamook, Ore. named Pour Some Sugar, an 8 percent ABV double IPA brewed with sugar, oats and double dry-hopped with both Citra and Nelson hops. The “open fermented hoppy beer” was brewed at Monkish Brewing on Dec. 8.
According to a post on Monkish’s Facebook page, Pour Some Sugar will be packaged in four-packs of 16-ounce cans ($22) and will have either a one 0r two four-pack per person purchase limit when it is released today at the brewery, with between 130-140 cases available.
