Modern Times Beer’s City of the Sun is back, but with a different look.
The seasonal IPA with a 7.5 ABV and made with Mosaic, Motueka and Simcoe hops. City of the Sun cans made their debut yesterday in the Modern Times taproom in San Diego and the brewery says the cans will head to stores next week.

While this in and of itself isn’t a big change from years past, the packaging is all new. The beer is now available in four-packs of 16-ounce cans instead of the 22-ounce bottles previously used.
The brewery’s original announcement of its choice to change the packaging for all of their seasonal releases came last December.
City of the Sun
will be available throughout Modern Times’ normal distribution footprint, which includes parts of California and Hawaii.
