Maui Brewing Co. has released a new variant of its Coconut Hiwa Porter, but you have to be in Hawaii to get it.

The beer in question is Imperial Coconut Porter, a 9 percent ABV imperial porter brewed with hand toasted coconut and seven different malts. The porter is a “deeper, more intense version” of  the Maui, Hawaii-based brewery’s Coconut Hiwa Porter (6 percent ABV) and was first released as a draft-only option in 2011.

According to the brewery, Imperial Coconut Porter is packaged in 750ml bottles and was released today in the Hawaii market as well as at both Maui Brewing Company locations in Kihei and Lahaina.
