Maine Beer Co. is adding a third release to its Hop Program.

According to filings with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), the Freeport, Maine-based brewery will be releasing Beer III, a “hoppy dark ale” that will be packaged in 16.9-ounce bottles.

Maine Beer Co. Beer III

As the name suggests, this will be the third release in Maine Beer’s Hop Program, which began early this year with Beer I (6.5 percent ABV), an IPA brewed with mosaic, Columbus, centennial and nelson sauvin hops and continued with Beer II (4.7 percent ABV), a session IPA brewed with Amarillo, citra, simcoe, and hallertau blanc hops. An email sent to the brewery for additional details was not immediately returned.
