Lucky Town Brewing Co.’s newest beer was brewed to commemorate a major milestone.
The Jackson, Miss.-based brewery will be releasing Hot Coffee, a 9.2 percent ABV imperial oatmeal stout brewed with coffee, chocolate, cinnamon and chili peppers. The new beer incorporates Old Route 4 Dark Roast coffee sourced from Bean Fruit Coffee Co. in Pearl, Miss. and is being released to celebrate the brewery’s third anniversary.
According to Chip Jones, spokesperson for Lucky Town, Hot Coffee will be a draft-only option this year and will be released on Dec. 11 at an event, with 16-ounce cans scheduled to be released “in late 2016.”
