Bottle Logic Brewing’s most popular beer now has a bigger brother.

The Anaheim, Calif.-based brewery has announced that it will be holding a lottery for bottles of Fundamental Forces, a 16.2 percent ABV imperial stout conditioned on Tahitian vanilla beans and aged in bourbon barrels for 16 months. This “high-octane” version of Fundamental Observation (14.3 percent ABV) also includes “systematic additions of dextrose to power up the brew’s fermentable sugars and help boost the ABV.”

Worlds collide this weekend as we round out our Galactic Beer Tour of 2016 with the Final Boss Stage beer release of #FundamentalForces! ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• This is the final beer release with which last year's #T3 Registered Passport Holders may use their bonus bottle perk before a similar program resets with our March 19-25, 2017 #WeekOfLogic! •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••This high-octane version of #FundamentalObservation saw systematic additions of dextrose to power up the brew’s fermentable sugars and help boost the ABV up to a 16.2% finish. After sixteen months of aging and concentrating on Tahitian vanilla beans in bourbon barrels, this beer makes its long-awaited draft and bottle debut on the opening day of our anniversary festivities: Sunday, March 19th. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••While we don't intend to permanently change our release structure, we have elected to pursue a public raffle format for THIS release in the face of remarkably high demand met only by a very small amount of bottles. The new stout will join 16 other beers in Bottle Logic’s Stasis Project Series, which is made up of barrel-aged beers.

Fundamental Forces will be priced at $24.95 each with a one bottle per person limit. However, unlike past releases that have been sold online, interested parties will have to enter a lottery between March 10 at 12 a.m. PST and March 12 at 11:59 p.m. PST at this link.

Winners will be notified on March 13. Bottle pickups will start March 19 and no proxies will be allowed.
