Back in June 2016, Left Hand Brewing Co. of Longmont, Colo. announced the pending arrival of its 30-head canning system. It appears Left Hand has been busy coming up with new beers to put the equipment through its paces.

One new beer that will help break-in the new machinery is Travelin’ Light. It is a new kölsch-style ale that will be available year round in 12-ounce cans from Left Hand. The beer will sport 22 IBU and 4.8 percent ABV according to a label submitted to the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB). The brewing calendar for Left Hand indicates the cans will begin “travelin” to stores by spring 2017.

An email sent to Left Hand seeking additional details was not immediately returned.
