One of Left Hand Brewing Co.’s most popular stouts is getting a brand new packaged nitro version.
The beer in question is Peanut Butter Milk Stout Nitro is a 6.2 percent ABV milk stout brewed with powdered peanuts and “natural peanut butter flavor” before being packaged in 12-ounce bottles. In addition, the stout is carbonated using nitrogen instead of the more common CO2, which gives it a creamier texture.
As the name suggests, the new beer is a variant of the Longmont, Colo.-based brewery’s Milk Stout Nitro, a six percent ABV milk stout brewed with lactose that was first released in bottles in 2011.
An email sent to the brewery for additional information was not immediately returned.
